Metallus Internship Program

Our program allows you to gain real work experience in a team environment. Metallus also supports your career readiness development through workshops with topics like resume building and interview prep.
Metallus Internship Includes:

Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2027
  • Start date: 05/17/2027
  • Gain hands-on experience in daily quality operations within a steel manufacturing environment.
  • Contribute to 1-3 high-impact projects focused on defect reduction and process improvement.
  • Support initiatives that enhance value-added steel manufacturing processes and operational performance.
  • Develop practical problem-solving and quality management skills through real-world project work.

Internship Qualifications:
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester
  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
  • Preferred majors: Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related
