We are looking for a Systems Application Associate. As a Systems Application Associate you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and operation of business applications across production and non-production environments, with a focus on learning, collaboration, and service excellence.


This junior-level role assists with monitoring application health, troubleshooting incidents, supporting builds, testing, deployments, and code migrations, and applying patches, upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance with established standards and best practices. The position works closely with senior team members, vendors, software providers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to help resolve application, database, server, and security-related issues, support system integrations, and contribute to performance tuning and ongoing system optimization.


In addition, the role participates in upgrades, implementations, and continuous improvement efforts by assisting with planning, task execution, documentation, and knowledge sharing. The position also provides end-user support for a diverse employee population, including warehouse and office staff, delivers high-quality customer service, supports user training and documentation, and participates in after-hours or on-call support as needed.


This position can be located in Syracuse, NY or Norcross, GA


The hourly Pay Range for this position is $32.28-$39.74. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including geographic location, skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, and overall alignment with business and organizational needs.

What you'll be doing:


Application Support & Operations

  • Provide technical support for production and non-production environments, including incident troubleshooting and resolution
  • Monitor application health, performance, and system availability
  • Support application builds, testing, deployments, and code migrations
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes following best practices

System Administration & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with vendors and software providers to resolve applications, database, server, and security issues
  • Work cross-functionally with IT teams and business stakeholders to support integrations and system enhancements
  • Assist with performance tuning, system optimization, and ongoing application maintenance


Project & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and enhancement projects
  • Contribute to retrospectives and recommend process or system improvements
  • Assist in planning, estimating, and executing application administration tasks


Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

  • Maintain and update technical documentation for applications, systems, and processes
  • Provide cross-training and share knowledge with team members
  • Support end-user documentation and training for system updates and features


End-User Support

  • Provide support to a diverse user base, including warehouse operations and office staff
  • Troubleshoot user issues and deliver high-quality customer service
  • Participate in after-hours/on-call rotations as required


What weโ€™re looking for:

  • Associate degree or bachelorโ€™s degree in information technology, computer science, business information systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant work experience will be considered.
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in application support, IT support, help desk, systems support, or a related technical role preferred.
  • Basic understanding of business applications, system administration concepts, and software support processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments, basic networking concepts, and troubleshooting techniques; exposure to Unix/Linux, databases, or enterprise applications is a plus.
  • Exposure to application testing, deployments, configuration changes, or documentation in an academic, internship, or professional setting is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, follow established processes, and work effectively under guidance from senior team members.
  • Strong customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document issues, resolutions, and procedures clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, pay close attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced support environment
