Job Description:
This job is responsible for achieving goals through coding and/or metadata management, support and technical direction for platforms and operations, providing input into the design. Key responsibilities include interacting extensively with managers and partners across the enterprise to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems or to develop significant process enhancements. Job expectations include translating business needs into technical requirements for supported platforms and ensuring all systems support conform to business needs and specifications.

Role Description:
The Targeting and List Production (TLP) team in the marketing department at Bank of America is searching for highly qualified individuals to support marketing operations through design, development, and delivery of pre campaign targeting analytics in support of demand generation marketing.

Campaign Planners on team TLP interface with Strategic Marketing Managers, Data Science Engineers, Database Administrators, and Legal/Risk/Compliance partners as part of a work group effort to help identify targeted audiences qualified for Bank of America products and services. Individuals are responsible for capturing strategic ideas, identifying key data sources, converting specifications into code, and running initial pre-sizing analytics of the opportunity. In addition, each campaign planner is responsible for being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product eligibility parameters of the particular product or service being targeted. They will also be responsible for understanding the permissible/legal use of the data used for targeting to ensure alignment with all necessary legal/risk/compliance expectations.

Your work will feed targeted list assets into both online and offline channels including Email, Direct mail, Authenticated Webpage, Authenticated Mobile App, ATM, Monthly Statements, Outbound Call Centers, Inbound Call Centers, Financial Centers and more.
As a Campaign Planner on Team TLP, you will have the unique opportunity to learn something about everything in marketing -- products, online and offline channels, design of experiment (DOE), reporting, post campaign analytics -- as you become the Bank's recognized SME and expert in the specific area of pre campaign targeting analysis.

  • Ability to build and interpret business requirements documents (BRD) and translate defined requirements into detailed targeting specifications

  • Comfortable communicating complex issues to a wide variety of both technical and non-technical audiences, front line workers and senior executives in either one to one or group settings
