Full-time

Re-posted 27 days ago

Job description

Summer 2026 Legacy Restoration | Chicagoland (Lombard, Illinois)

Earn While You Learn (Real Sales Experience).

Looking for an internship where you actually gain real-world experience AND get paid based on your performance?

At Legacy Restoration, you won't be sitting in meetings or doing admin work-you'll be out in the field, building skills in sales, business development, and customer engagement that directly impact revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Connect with homeowners and introduce company services
  • Generate leads and schedule property inspections
  • Support active sales opportunities and follow-ups, participate in neighborhood outreach and storm-response efforts
  • Track activity and performance in company systems
  • Work directly with Sales Representatives on territory strategy

Compensation

  • $25/hour base pay
  • $80 bonus per completed appointment (UNCAPPED)

Example: 10 completed appointments/week = $800 bonus + hourly pay

What You'll Gain

  • Real experience in sales, business, and entrepreneurship
  • Exposure to how revenue is generated (not just observed)
  • Mentorship from experienced sales leaders
  • Skill development in communication, negotiation, and confidence
  • Opportunity for full-time offer after graduation

Schedule & Program Details

  • Summer Internship (10-12 weeks)
  • Start: May-June (flexible)
  • Schedule: Work Saturday + 4 weekdays (choose one weekday off)
  • Location: Field-based (local travel required)

Who Should Apply - This role is a great fit for students who are:

  • Interested in sales, business, or entrepreneurship
  • Competitive, driven, and goal-oriented
  • Comfortable talking to new people
  • Looking to build real-world experience (not just a resume line)

Preferred Majors: Business, Marketing, Communications (all majors welcome)

Bonus if you are:

  • Interested in commission-based or high-earning roles

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a college/university
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment

Why This Internship Stands Out Most internships = shadowing and busy work This internship = real responsibility + real earnings + real skills

You'll leave with:

  • Experience you can actually talk about in interviews
  • Confidence in professional communication
  • A clear understanding of how businesses grow revenue

Additional Development Opportunities

  • 1:1 mentorship with Regional Sales Managers (bi-weekly)
  • Monthly training with VP of Sales
  • Weekly team coaching and strategy sessions
  • Exposure to multiple markets and potential regional travel
