Job Description
NOV Pressure Control Group is currently recruiting for a Top Drive Assembler to join our team at 12950 West Little York Road. The main responsibilities of this role include:
JOB SUMMARY
Assemble, install, modify and test either mechanical or hydraulic pneumatic components.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics.
  • Operate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
  • Install finished assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform functional / continuity tests on completed assemblies.
  • May prioritize work based on production schedule.
  • Perform the assembly, start up, and function test of equipment systems.
  • Troubleshoot systems, make necessary repairs and any corrections to system.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble production tools from blueprints and verbal instructions.
  • Set up and test units or subassemblies to specifications.
  • Communicate with engineers to resolve problems related to production tools.
  • Troubleshoot production tools, repairing if necessary.
  • Install precision bearings, perform precise alignment of moving parts.
  • Perform assignments in accordance with written procedures.
  • Ensure quality documents are completed in compliance with company procedure.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three or more years of assembly experience with oilfield equipment preferred.
