Overview
We are currently seeking an Assistant Account Executive (AAE) to join our Account Services group. The individual will work closely with our Field Integration and Regional Field teams to coordinate all aspects of broadcast, print and digital advertising for our clients as well as assist with communication efforts and various internal business management functions.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as liaison between the regional field team and the Birmingham service center office
  • Gather and organize key data for regional team and clients
  • Open and assign project numbers to support all production needs
  • Assure that all necessary approvals and documentation are in place
  • Generate cost estimates for the various projects and assist with working them through the approval process
  • Manage budgets and billing for production jobs
  • Maintain strong client and team relationships

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors in degree in marketing, advertising, management or related field.
Experience: An internship and/or up to 1 year of experience in an advertising environment is ideal, but not required.
Skills Required:
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • General proficiency in math is preferred
  • A self-starter who can work well independently as well as in a team-based setting

Compensation Range: $33,535 - $40,280 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
