Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruction & Student Learning
• Deliver engaging, inclusive, and student-centered instruction.
• Utilize instructional technologies and active learning strategies.
• Teach assigned courses in face-to-face, hybrid, online, and laboratory formats.
• Prepare and maintain course syllabi aligned with approved curriculum.
• Evaluate student learning using multiple assessment methods.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Foster an environment that supports student success and academic integrity. Curriculum & Program Development
• Participate in curriculum development and revision.
• Develop laboratory exercises and hands-on learning experiences.
• Align curriculum with workforce needs and industry certifications.
• Integrate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, into instruction.
• Assist with assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Participate in program review and continuous improvement initiatives.
Student Support & Engagement
• Provide academic advising and mentoring.
• Support recruitment, orientation, and retention efforts.
• Assist students with transfer and career planning.
• Refer students to appropriate academic support services.

Required Education:
MINIMUM OUALIFICIATIONS:
• Master's degree in Computer Science. Computer Information Systems. Information Technology. Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or closely related discipline; OR
• Master's degree in another discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Three or more years of successful college teaching experience
• Three or more years of relevant IT industry experience
• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
• Experience with Canvas or another Learning Management System
• Experience preparing students for industry certifications
• Active industry certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Oracle, ISC2, VMware, Red Hat, or equivalent
• Experience in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or software development
• Demonstrated commitment to student success and workforce development
