Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Ensure all environments and learning materials align with best practices, security requirements, and enterprise architecture standards
  • Maintain all training resources including sandbox training assets (lab guides, decks, demos, code samples, runbooks) and ensure any platform changes aligned to Scotia standards, and real business use cases
  • Lead ongoing requirements gathering to ensure training aligns with business priorities, technical needs, and adoption goals
  • Engage CIO teams to identify skill gaps, gather feedback, and validate expected learning outcomes
  • Define/refine success metrics and manage feedback loops for continuous improvement.
  • Localize all learning content to Scotia's identified learning platforms
  • Coordinate crossfunctional stakeholders to align training with policies, roadmaps, and readiness plans
  • Manage program operations including delivery calendars, registration, waitlists, attendance tracking, and reporting on learning/skill attainment metrics
  • Provide clear progress updates; identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Support program communication and rollout planning across regions and teams
  • Support handson workshops and drop-in clinics for engineers, developers, architects, and infrastructure teams
  • Apply adult learning principles and the 702010 model to maximize practical skill development (guided labs, peer learning, office hours)
  • Conduct trainthetrainer refresher sessions for continuous capacity scaling across teams and regions
  • Manage daytoday lab operations: sandbox provisioning, quotas, budgets, access, and environment cleanup
  • Implement guardrails and cost controls
  • Maintain images, reference architectures, and preconfigured templates
  • Monitor environment health, remediate issues, and coordinate with platform teams to ensure services remain current, stable, and compliant
  • Continuous improvement and update of training curriculum/content to align with Sandbox updates and business requirements

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Intermediate to advanced hands-on experience in Cloud, Data, and/or AI engineering or development.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver technical learning experiences, including workshops, labs, bootcamps, and hands-on enablement, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience delivering enablement programs at scale e.g. cohorts, lab orchestration, and TraintheTrainer models.
  • Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, influence without authority, and build and sustain a community of practice.
  • Focus on delivering practical, outcome-driven technical learning that addresses real-world business problems.
  • Ability to connect platform capabilities, guardrails, controls, and business outcomes to drive sustainable adoption and value.
  • Certifications: Relevant Cloud, Data, and/or AI certifications
