Internship Focus AreasMinistry Operations & Administration

Help us create systems and structures that organize and mobilize ministry effectively.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Cleaning up donor databases and contact records

  • Organizing leader and committee contact lists

  • Auditing and updating digital platforms (Google Drive, Linktree, Emma email system, etc.)

  • Creating standardized forms and templates for:

    • Leader applications

    • Camp follow-up

    • Parent communication

    • Committee onboarding

  • Building systems for tracking:

    • Leader recruitment

    • Donor engagement

    • School contacts

  • Creating onboarding packets for new leaders and committee members

  • Organizing area photos, videos, and digital assets

  • Researching school demographics and community needs

  • Assisting with ministry calendar planning and annual communication strategies

  • Supporting organizational systems connected to Orange County Young Life collaboration efforts

Fundraising & Development

Young Life deeply values donor care, storytelling, and partnership development.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with summer donor communication updates

  • Writing thank-you notes and donor appreciation materials

  • Gathering student and leader stories from the year

  • Helping create impact-centered storytelling content

  • Organizing alumni databases for future outreach

  • Assisting in building donor follow-up systems and communication workflows

Social Media & Communications

Help us tell the stories of Central OC Young Life in creative and meaningful ways.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Creating a summer social media content calendar

  • Scheduling Instagram posts and reels

  • Designing promotional graphics for fall kickoff events

  • Capturing and editing testimony videos

  • Creating "Leader Spotlight" and "Alumni Spotlight" campaigns

  • Updating website information and ministry communication materials

  • Designing branded Canva templates and graphics

Ideal Internship Candidate
