• Evaluate and treat a wide range of conditions affecting patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain in an outpatient environment.
• Establish comprehensive treatment plans using necessary techniques, such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and the use of rehabilitative equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring that updates on treatments are communicated effectively to both patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt treatment goals and plans based on regular assessments, ensuring the highest quality of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Assist patients in acquiring and utilizing assistive devices to enhance self-care and mobility, including educating patients and their families on proper usage.
• Participate in continuous professional development through attending educational workshops, reviewing literature in the field, and engaging with professional networks.

As a Physical Therapist at Active in Motion, you will work with a diverse patient population, spanning all ages. Our clients include athletes recovering from sports injuries, seniors rehabilitating after surgeries, and individuals managing chronic conditions. Your role will be pivotal in addressing each patient’s unique circumstances with empathy and expertise to maximize their recovery potential.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is mandatory.
• Authorization to practice as a Physical Therapist in Washington State is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey treatment plans and provide patient education effectively.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation, patient tracking, and healthcare software.
• A strong ability to adapt approaches to meet patient needs, demonstrating flexibility and agility in work methods.

• While prior work experience is not mandatory, familiarity with outpatient care models or internships during your academic career will be beneficial.
• Experience working with diverse populations or in a multi-disciplinary team setting is advantageous.
