Description
Examines patient's medical history, tests and measures patient's skills in the areas of speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. Through collaboration with interdisciplinary team, develops a plan of care to provide goal-directed outcome. Provides education to the patient, families and peers relating to the rehab processes and to alternative treatment methods. Provides documentation of evals, treatment plan, daily visits and progress. Assist speech interns and provide in-service training.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school with CCC-SLP.
Experience
Minimum of two years experience in adults preferred with competency in Modified Barium Swallow exam/Video Fluoroscopic Swallowing Exam.
