Job description

Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 32 countries and territories in North America, the Greater Caribbean, and Europe. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline and over 160 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which distribute over 15 billion gallons annually to approximately 11,000 Sunoco and partner-branded retail locations, as well as independent dealers and commercial customers.

Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to support Sunoco LP's Terminal Business Development team while also taking an active role as needed in identifying opportunities to grow the business into new geographies and product lines. In particular, the successful candidate will:

  • Run analysis on asset activity to identify growth areas and guide commercial decisions
  • Manage day-to-day blending activities at applicable terminals, ensuring blends are optimized and product deliveries are coordinated
  • Assist Business Development team with drafting new agreements and amendments, putting together escalations, and drafting customer notices
  • Liaise between terminal personnel and customers when scheduling issues arise to find best solutions for us and our stakeholders
  • Assist Business Development team with event coordination and logistics
  • Create materials that can be used during customer meetings to highlight our asset portfolio

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Finance/Business/Engineering or other related discipline
  • 0 - 2 years of experience
  • No full-time work experience required; internship experience preferred
  • Able to carefully and accurately analyze data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ambitious individual who is comfortable with proactively taking action/asking questions in scenarios that may be ambiguous
  • Creative thinker who is able to formulate unique solutions to problems and find ways to optimize inefficient processes
