Our service model focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of your mental health patients. Based on the results of an assessment, we determine the most appropriate level of care and recommend treatment facilities. The tele-psychiatric assessment and consultation services we offer are designed to connect people with the care provides best equipped to address their mental health issues. Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor Full Time (to work SAT-SUN 7am-7:30pm with two 8 hours Shift during the week) to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor's assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
Degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor ("LPC"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ("LMFT"), Licensed Master Social Worker ("LMSW"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW"), or Registered Nurse ("RN").
Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)
Must have a valid driver's license
EXPERIENCE:
Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.
Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.
Mobile assessment experience preferred.
