Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

โ€ข Variable start times for day shifts between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM
โ€ข On-call responsibilities required with a 30-minute response time
โ€ข No call room available
โ€ข End of shift (EOS) call: 8-10 slots available for AM shifts
โ€ข Overnight call slots (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM): 1-2 slots for AM shifts and 5-10 slots for PM shifts
โ€ข Weekend call required: 1-2 weekends per schedule cycle depending on specialty
โ€ข No weekend rotation
โ€ข Minimum 2 years of experience required
โ€ข BLS certification required
โ€ข Strong orthopedic background required including fractures, anterior hips, total joints, ortho spine, and hand/podiatry procedures
โ€ข Experience with Hanna Table equipment required
โ€ข Neuro/ENT skills including spine surgeries (laminectomies, ALIFs, fusions, and discectomies) preferred
โ€ข Cranial surgery experience including tumors, VP shunts, and subdural procedures preferred
โ€ข ENT experience including neck dissections with flaps, sinus surgery with stealth navigation, tonsils, and tympanoplasty preferred
โ€ข Navigation system experience with Medtronic (cranial and spine), Medtronic Stealth (ENT), and Stryker and Synaptive Navigation (cranial) preferred
โ€ข General surgery experience including breasts/plastics, vascular, laparoscopic, general oncology, genitourinary, and gynecology preferred
โ€ข Robotic surgery experience (XI) may be utilized for candidates with strong background and extended contract commitment
โ€ข Cross-trained to General Main OR specialty and Urology center; no floating to other hospitals or sites
โ€ข EMR system: EPIC
โ€ข IV Pump: Alaris
โ€ข Medication dispensing: Pyxis
โ€ข Scrubs provided; scrub caps allowed but must be covered by a surgical bouffant
โ€ข Free parking available with shuttle service to and from parking structure
โ€ข Starbucks and cafeteria available on campus

Facility:

This facility is a large 636-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center located in Milwaukee, WI. It holds Magnet Designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center, as well as a Level III NICU. The operating room department features 21 OR suites and is supported by a comprehensive team including charge RNs, leads, supervisors, surgeons, and an anesthesia team, ensuring a well-structured and collaborative environment for surgical care.
