Summary:

The Entry Level Quality Coordinator assists quality department with reviews and inspection of parts throughout production stages and completes data entry of findings.  This is a 90-day internship position.  Candidates will be provided the necessary training for this position.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

Responsibilities:

  • Enter variety of data using Microsoft excel.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
  • Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes.
  • Review and enter data updates in the systems.
  • Review discrepancies in data received.
  • Perform hourly in-process inspections for all running jobs using gauges, scales and visual inspection to identify product defects.
  • Notify floor supervisor/plant manager immediately when non-conforming parts are detected.
  • Quarantine nonconforming parts physically with proper identification and labeling.
  • Support additional Quality department duties as assigned
