IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Greenwood Village, CO. Over 10-12 weeks,you'llwork closely with experienced engineers and consultants on engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for the vertical building industry.

You'llsupport project work within the project's monetary budget, collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations, andassistwith documentation, coordination, and periodic job site observations. This role supports hospitality-focused MEP work and other fast-turn project efforts while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030.

  • Assistwith preparing and issuing addendum information

What You'll Bring

Education

  • Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong interest in design consulting

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Skilled in AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM) software

  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups

  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred

State of Colorado Pay Range: $22-24 per hour

The range listed aboverepresentsthe base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work locationidentifiedabove at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location.

Individual compensation will bedeterminedbased on job-related factors, including the candidate's experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications.
