Job description

Data Entry Clerk

The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information in our company's databases and systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, organizing files, and supporting various departments with timely information. This role requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. This is an in-office position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Knowledge of sales and invoicing. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to learn and utilize the ERP system - Sage 100. Accurate data entry and data verification skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: An Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Previous data entry experience is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately transfer information from physical documents, PDFs, or various sources into digital databases, spreadsheets, or CRM systems. Review and verify data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information before final input, correcting any discrepancies found. Update existing records with new information as it becomes available. Organize, scan, and file physical documents or digital records to ensure they are easily accessible and secure. Generate reports, summaries, or data exports as requested by management. Adhere to strict security, data protection, and confidentiality protocols. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Enter packing slip information into the ERP system. Enter daily receipts into the ERP system. Responsible for daily container tracking updates and reporting any issues with the shipments. Assist with general clerical tasks, such as disassembling parts in Sage, creation of envelopes for ROG, etc., as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Work is usually performed in a typical interior/office environment. Physical demands of the position are sitting, walking, and constant viewing of the computer screen. No or minimal exposure to physical risk. Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
