JOB SUMMARY

Corvus Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Senior Data Analyst to support mission‑critical initiatives for the U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ). This role serves as a key technical and analytical lead responsible for evaluating complex systems, optimizing data flows, and delivering advanced insights across multiple platforms and environments. The Senior Data Analyst will partner closely with legal, operational, and IT teams to run sophisticated queries, develop interactive dashboards, and maintain data integrity that drives high‑level decision‑making.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise data systems, large‑scale database environments, and advanced analytics. Success in this role requires strong technical leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across diverse functional areas supporting DOJ operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead collaboration with management, legal teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to define system requirements, architect data flows, and drive strategic optimizations across enterprise systems.
  • Design and oversee the development of advanced reports and interactive dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI that directly inform high‑level USDOJ decision‑making and operational strategy.
  • Architect and implement complex analytics solutions and automation frameworks using SQL, Python, and SSIS to maximize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Direct the use of ESRI ArcGIS for advanced mapping, spatial analysis, and geolocation services that support critical legal casework and organizational objectives.
  • Own system performance monitoring, proactive troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure systems reliably meet the operational and mission needs of the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data analysts while partnering with IT, legal, and operational teams to ensure systems fully satisfy business, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data, Statistics, or IT related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience performing data analysis.
  • At least one (1) year hands‑on experience working with Tableau, PowerBI, ArcGIS, OR Python.
  • Have advanced understanding of SQL
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with MS SQL Server
  • Understanding of legal terminology and processes
  • Experience with US Government contracts
