Job description

Amazon Music is seeking a Marketing Specialist to create impactful marketing and merchandising
campaigns for the Music Merch/CD/Vinyl team.
This role is responsible for creating best-in-class
marketing campaigns that drive awareness, discoverability, and sales for newly launched merch and physical music products. The role oversees execution of key traffic and awareness channels including paid media execution, campaign oversight, positioning, copy, creative templates, and timing. The specialist will use insights and performance data to develop channel recommendations and best practices. The position also includes supporting our largest Artist Merch capsule launches, and developing marketing end-to-end marketing campaigns for our CDs & Vinyl business.
The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who is customer-obsessed, data-driven, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be comfortable working independently, communicating regularly with stakeholders, and collaborating across Amazon Music, Amazon Fashion, and other cross-functional teams.
The role requires both strategic work (developing processes and trafficking plans) and tactical execution (building campaigns, analyzing traffic data, and improving workflows).

Key job responsibilities
- Own key traffic and awareness channels including paid media strategy, campaign oversight, positioning, copy, creative templates, and timing.
- Analyze and track campaign paid media performance across key marketing channels, optimize results, and share learnings with the team.
- Support launching artist capsules across Amazon.com and Amazon Music, including end-to-end asset planning, execution, reporting, and optimization.
- Serve as the external traffic subject matter expert and create processes that simplify and improve traffic impact.
- Serve as the marketing single point of contact for Physical Music (CDs, Vinyl, Cassettes) marketing support

The Music Merch team's mission is to bring the world's largest collection of authentic music merch to fans wherever they are, however they prefer to shop.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience in a marketing role
- Experience building and managing marketing campaigns end-to-end, including planning, execution, and performance reporting
- Proficiency with digital marketing tactics, content management systems, campaign trafficking tools, or site merchandising platforms
- Experience analyzing campaign performance data to identify trends and optimize results
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with a Content Management System (e.g. Wordpress, Drupla, Joomla, etc.)
- Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges
- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce merchandising, or retail media with measurable impact on traffic and conversion
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and translating test results into scalable best practices and process improvements
- Familiarity with the music or entertainment industry, including artist merchandise, physical music (CD/Vinyl), or fan-driven product categories
- Experience working cross-functionally across brand, creative, and product teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
- Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or BI dashboards) to build reporting mechanisms and surface actionable insights
- Track record of creating and documenting repeatable processes that simplify workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present data-driven recommendations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
