We're in early stages for a Sr. Software Engineer search. This is forahands-on engineer and technical leader who can ship business-critical capabilities on tight timelines. You'll own the design and delivery of multi-component features, raise the bar on reliability and security, and help scale the team alongside the CTO through code reviews, mentoring, and pragmatic process improvements.

The Sr. Software Engineer Will:
  • Powering the Core Engine: You'll design and operate the scalable Node.js/TypeScript backend services that act as the backbone for our workflow automation platform.
  • Scaling the Engineering Org: Working side-by-side with our CTO, you will help mature our engineering culture by modernizing our code review processes to keep delivery fast but flawless.
  • Cultivating Technical Excellence: Act as a force multiplier for the team by mentoring engineers, reviewing code, and establishing modern CI/CD and testing standards.
  • Driving Projects to the Finish Line: You will own the technical execution of major initiatives, breaking down complex product goals into smart, manageable sprints.
  • Building Bulletproof Infrastructure: You'll ensure our systems are robust and fault-tolerant by embedding rate-limiting, idempotency, and multi-tenant isolation into the architecture.
  • Protecting Enterprise Trust: Help maintain our enterprise-grade security posture by building solutions that meet strict SOC 2 Type II compliance guidelines.
  • Owning the Production Experience: You'll keep our platform highly observable and reliable, actively participating in incident response and refining our operational playbooks.

What You Bring (Your Experience)
  • Production-Proven Backend Depth: 6+ years of professional, non-internship software engineering experience, with a deep, hands-on mastery of Node.js and TypeScript in real-world environments.
  • System Architecture Ownership: 4+ years architecting and scaling production systems from scratch, with a strong grasp of design patterns, fault tolerance, and high-availability systems.
  • Technical Project Leadership: A proven track record of shepherding complex projects across the finish line—from initial scoping and milestone mapping to execution and production delivery.
  • Operational Grit: Hands-on experience keeping production services healthy, including setting up robust observability, leading incident response, and refining on-call readiness.
  • Hardened Security Focus: Solid experience designing secure applications and implementing SDLC practices that align with enterprise compliance frameworks like SOC 2 Type II.
  • Engineering Excellence: Natural adherence to high-quality engineering lifecycles, including strict coding standards, thorough code reviews, automated testing pipelines, and smooth CI/CD processes.
Bonus Points (Preferred Experience)
