Summer Intern Program duration: June 1 - August 7, 2026.

Position: Summer Internship - Software Engineering Intern

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our team and contribute to innovative AI-driven solutions in the banking domain. This role involves researching and evaluating emerging AI/Generative AI tools, identifying and recommending AI-based use cases for banking operations, and assisting in the development and enhancement of AI-enabled applications. The intern will collaborate closely with the engineering team and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and assess new AI/GenAI technologies, frameworks, and tools for potential adoption.
  • Identify and recommend AI-driven use cases to improve banking operations and customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled applications.
  • Assist in building prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions for AI-based features.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Document findings, recommendations, and technical designs for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for existing AI-enabled applications.

Location: Southington, CT (3 days a week in person)

Required Skills

  • Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry

  • Ability to analyze problems, research solutions, and communicate findings effectively.

The estimated hourly range for this position is $21.00/hour USD to $23.00/hour USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
