Job description

Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Cayuga, IL, USA
Duration: 12 months
Position type: W2 contract
 
 

Position Description:
Education Requirements (Bullet Points)
• Minimum Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with an embedded software focus.
• No 2-year degrees will be accepted.
• Master's degree is acceptable but must still have 5+ years of experience.
• Internships do not count as job experience.
• Years of Experience Required: 5–7 years of industry experience.
Skill Requirements (Bullet Points)
• 5+ years of industry experience in C programming.
• Model-Based Development experience (Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow).
• Embedded control software development experience.
• Familiarity with debuggers and strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Desired Technical Skills:
• Communications software/protocols (CAN/SAE J1939, Ethernet).
• Embedded Operating System experience.
