The Role and Impact
As a Software Technician, you will play an integral role in editing, debugging, and modifying software products to ensure they meet defined quality and performance standards. Working within a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will contribute directly to the validation and refinement of software that powers critical data collection processes. Your expertise in resolving technical challenges and executing test plans will have a direct impact on driving Intel's innovation and success in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit, modify, and debug software products in alignment with established software test plans and procedures.
- Conduct software testing and validation, ensuring adherence to defined performance and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, resolve, and document nonstandard software challenges.
- Execute prescribed test plans with precision and adaptability, responding to evolving project requirements.
- Maintain and manage hardware infrastructure to support software testing environments.
- Apply analytical problem-solving techniques to address technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 10-15 years of experience in software testing and debugging, OR 6+ years of experience with an AA or AS degree, OR 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6+ years' experience with software debugging or testing methodologies.
  • 6+ years' experience supporting software environments.
  • 6+ years' experience with test plans.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate and resolve issues in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in optimizing testing processes and contributing to process improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for continuous learning and technology innovation.
