Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role supports a team that builds AI-powered platforms and tools to proactively identify and mitigate risk across a global transportation and logistics network. The position is for hands-on, execution-focused engineers who develop and deliver production-ready software features in a fast-paced environment. This work directly supports compliance, auditability, and operational risk reduction at a large scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and deliver production-ready software features supporting risk and compliance initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance distributed systems used across global transportation domains.
  • Work as a hands-on engineer, owning the implementation and execution of defined requirements with a focus on feature delivery.
  • Contribute to applications leveraging AI and LLM-driven capabilities.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, take ownership, and deliver results incrementally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience. Experience with distributed or multi-tier systems is required.
Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, and TypeScript. A solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering fundamentals is necessary.
Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with risk, compliance, audit, controls, or other regulated systems.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled applications, particularly those using Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience with transportation, logistics, or large-scale operational platforms.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Previous experience in an execution-focused environment with evolving priorities.
