Job description

Senior Test Software Automation Engineer

Lockheed Martin is shaping the future of defense through cuttingโ€‘edge radar and missile defense technologies. As the premier developer of active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars and integrated air and missile defense solutions, we deliver worldโ€‘class situational awareness and early warning capabilities for the U.S. military and more than 45 nations worldwide. The role is based on an onsite Lockheed Martin facility in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automated test station software used to test RF, digital, analog, and power modules, subsystems, and systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Create automated test programs and test systems for production test solutions.
  • Participate in design, development, and maintenance phases of projects.
  • Present design documentation for customer and team reviews.
  • Integrate and validate test software.
  • Generate costing and proposal data for new business opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • Experience with test solution software development and system/component integration & test.
  • Familiarity with commercial test equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
  • Knowledge or experience in test automation design and measurement.
  • LabVIEW development experience.
  • Proficiency with C/C++ software development.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
