As a Solutions Senior Sales Executive on our Commercial Building Automation Controls Solutions team, you'll bring a hunter's mindset to one of the most active and opportunity-rich markets in the country, developing relationships with general contractors, mechanical contractors, consultants, developers, and end-users across high-profile verticals including healthcare, higher education, data centers, and life sciences.

This position can be a Sales Executive (entry level) or a Sr. Sales Executive level, depending on directly related experience.
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will:
  • Drive sales performance and opportunity management by achieving assigned bookings, revenue, and profitability goals; developing and maintaining a qualified sales funnel; accurately forecasting business performance; and consistently delivering expected results across your territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans by building relationships with general contractors, mechanical contractors, consultants, developers, end users, and other key decision-makers; identifying new business opportunities; expanding Siemens' presence within targeted vertical markets; and driving growth through both new customer acquisition and existing customer development.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by developing a deep understanding of their business objectives, operational challenges, and facility needs; consulting on budgeting and investment requirements; and recommending Building Automation and integrated Siemens solutions that help optimize building performance and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strengthen Siemens' market presence by maintaining expertise in customer needs, competitor offerings, market conditions, and emerging automation technologies; participating in professional organizations and industry events; developing go-to-market strategies; and positioning Siemens as a recognized leader in smart building technology and digital service solutions.
  • Lead the development and execution of complex sales opportunities by collaborating with estimators and sales support resources to develop proposals and customer presentations; establishing value-based pricing strategies; preparing bid packages and cost estimates; and leveraging Siemens' portfolio of Automation, Fire, Security, Service, and Smart Infrastructure solutions to maximize customer value and secure project awards.
  • Partner across the organization to deliver exceptional customer outcomes by working closely with operations, finance, legal, technical experts, and fellow sales teams throughout the sales cycle; actively participating in training, workshops, and sales meetings; spending at least 50% of your time in customer-facing activities; and traveling overnight approximately 10% as needed to support business development, customer engagement, and professional growth.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of sales experience in building automation or a closely related industry within the local Dallas, TX market OR experience as a sales intern within Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings OR Siemens experience in a technical or customer-facing position such as a Project Manager, Specialist, or Engineer
  • Must be able to demonstrate:
    • Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively and independently
    • Account development and strategic sales skills
    • Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • Salesforce CRM
  • Software, IoT, and networking experience
  • Experience in the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, and commercial office vertical markets
  • Experience selling to end users/owners and demonstrated understanding of how to market, position, and sell cloud-based, data-driven service programs such as fault detection and diagnostics to existing and new customers

The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $115,790 annually plus an uncapped sales incentive structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
