Position Overview
Siemens is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Pursuit Specialist to support strategic opportunities within our Energy & Industrial Solutions (EIS) business. This role serves as the primary technical interface for assigned pursuits, translating customer requirements into Siemens solutions and driving the development of accurate, competitive, and timely proposals.
You will play a key role in managing quotation requests for low and medium voltage switchgear, coordinating across internal teams, and ensuring alignment with customer expectations and Siemens standards. This is a high-impact position that contributes directly to our growth and customer success.

What you will be doing:
Strategic Bid Management
  • Lead and coordinate RFQs exceeding $5M, collaborating with Siemens Factory Teams (SFT) on downstream product integration.
  • Facilitate bid strategy meetings, define pursuit approaches, and ensure opportunity tracking and updates in Salesforce.
  • Monitor bid pipelines and follow up on key opportunities to maintain momentum and alignment.

Technical Analysis & Proposal Development
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine accurate equipment requirements.
  • Apply local electrical codes and standards to ensure compliant and optimized equipment selection.
  • Utilize internal quotation tools to generate technically sound and commercially competitive proposals.
  • Coordinate technical reviews and pricing processes in accordance with Siemens guidelines.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Create and manage bid opportunities in Salesforce, maintaining clear and consistent communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review addendums, address non-standard RFP terms, and ensure timely and complete bid submissions.
  • Collaborate with MAP and bid team portals to source specialized materials and manage buyout content.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of strong technical background in electrical systems, low and medium voltage switchgear in the Data Center sector
  • 7+ years of proven experience in bid management, proposal development, or technical sales support.
  • Familiarity with local electrical codes and standards.
  • 3+ yeas proficiency with Salesforce and internal quotation tools.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
