As a Sewing Machine Operator, you would be part of our team responsible for sewing components. Our ideal candidates are comfortable using sewing machines, able to read and comprehend garment patterns, and able to follow directions to maintain our high-quality standards. We have positions open for a variety of sewing machines from single needle, overlock, multi-needle, overstitch and other types of sewing machines. Sewing Operators who thrive in our fast-paced work environment are organized, quick learners, and love to work with their hands.ย 
Our regular schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 3:15pm, Friday, 6:00am to 11:00am.

ย Job duties may include:

  • Interpreting garment patterns and operating industrial sewing machines to create products to specification
  • Sewing sample garments and scheduled production units (including new styles) using industrial sewing machines
  • Completing repairs as needed for both domestic and offshore produced garments
  • Meets deadlines by working with the team to ensure products are made correctly and meets quality standards
  • Consistently meets production goals set by supervisor
  • Inspects and identifies flaws in products to meet quality standards

ย What you will need to have:

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of sewing and/or cutting
  • 2+ year(s) experience using industrial sewing machine
  • Strong attention to detail and great work ethic
  • Ability to work and communicate well within a team
  • Very good hand-eye coordination
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks and sit for an extended period of time
