Job description

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Tech Lead to lead development teams in designing, developing, and delivering scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, AWS, and PostgreSQL, along with proven technical leadership and mentoring skills.

Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
  • 8+ years of overall software development experience, with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails.
  • Proven experience leading development teams and providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, application development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with Git, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  • Strong database design and optimization experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications using Ruby on Rails.

  • Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows using Git, JIRA, and CI/CD tools.
  • Implement automated testing and ensure adherence to coding, security, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with distributed/offshore teams, delegate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate technical status, risks, and project updates to stakeholders and customers.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvements, process optimization, and technical innovation.
