Job description

Mechanical Engineering TechnicianEntry-Level Candidates Encouraged to ApplyLaunch Your Career with a World-Leading Semiconductor Technology Company

Do you enjoy figuring out how things work and taking them apart to fix them? Whether you've repaired iPhones, built gaming PCs, upgraded computers, fixed printers, worked on cars, assembled electronics, or simply enjoy hands-on projects, this could be the perfect opportunity to turn your passion into a career.

Join one of the world's leading semiconductor companies and help build the advanced technology that powers everything from artificial intelligence and smartphones to next-generation computing systems. We're seeking motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Previous semiconductor experience is not required. We welcome recent graduates, military veterans, technical school graduates, hobbyists, and mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with tools and technology.

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and manufacturing professionals to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and improve sophisticated mechanical and electro-mechanical systems used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.

What You'll Do
  • Assemble, wire, inspect, test, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical testing to ensure systems meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and test equipment.
  • Support manufacturing operations from assembly through final testing.
  • Participate in prototype builds and new product introductions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Partner with engineers and technicians to solve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and process optimization efforts.
  • Follow cleanroom procedures and maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for learning.
  • Enjoys working with tools, equipment, electronics, or mechanical systems.
  • Experience building, repairing, or troubleshooting devices such as computers, phones, printers, automobiles, motorcycles, drones, gaming systems, or other technical equipment is highly valued.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics, or a willingness to learn.
  • Hands-on experience using basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Military technical experience, vocational training, internship, co-op, or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience assembling, testing, repairing, or maintaining mechanical or electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, cleanroom, or high-tech manufacturing environments is a plus.
Don't Have Direct Experience?

That's okay. If you're the type of person who enjoys fixing phones, building PCs, repairing electronics, working on cars, tinkering with mechanical equipment, or learning how complex systems work, we'd love to hear from you. We value aptitude, curiosity, and a hands-on mindset just as much as professional experience.

Join a world-class semiconductor manufacturer and build a career at the forefront of innovation and technology.
