Job description

Internship Overview:

As a Social Media Intern, you will work with both the Digital Media and Post-Production teams to create compelling content that resonates with our audience. From brainstorming and planning campaigns to assisting with content creation and engagement strategies, you will gain valuable insights into the workings of a modern sports and entertainment network.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and producing digital content for NLSE’s social media platforms, website, and OTT channels.
  • Support the post-production process for local and regional sports content, including live broadcasts and highlight packages.
  • Learn video editing and work with tools like Adobe Premiere to create engaging media assets.
  • Help organize and manage media footage and deliverables for social media use.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming meetings, contributing ideas for promotions and original content.
  • Assist in writing captivating scripts, captions, and promotional copy for social media.
  • Collaborate with digital and editorial teams to execute content calendars and work plans.
  • Uphold NLSE’s standards for content privacy and quality.
  • Take initiative on special projects and embrace opportunities for new learning experiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
