Job Summary
The Student Assistant performs a variety of support duties through close interaction with Administrative staff and faculty and, as needed, with other departments and/or organizations.
The duties and responsibilities of this position require interpersonal and clerical skills and an understanding of effective customer service.
Responsibilities
Reception - 40
- Assists a variety of visitors and refers to a range of administrative issues and inquiries
- Serves as receptionist when needed and relays messages.
Administrative Support - 40
- Hand delivers sensitive documents on campus
- Operates equipment, including fax machine, printer, copier, scanner, etc.
- Organizes and monitors inventory of science education supplies and kits
