Huntington Honda is looking for an Business Development Center Acquisition Specialist to help grow our pre-owned inventory by connecting with customers who are interested in selling or trading their vehicles. 

 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring pre-owned vehicles for our dealership through both private party and trade-in channels. No previous acquisition experience is required. If you have experience in sales, BDC, customer service, or another dealership role and enjoy working with people, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers interested in selling or trading their vehicles
  • Build rapport and explain Huntington Honda's vehicle acquisition process
  • Schedule appointments with prospective sellers
  • Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and previous customers
  • Gather vehicle information and maintain accurate customer records
  • Work closely with the appraisal and sales teams to help acquire quality pre-owned inventory
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process
  • Trade inventory with other dealerships and coordinate transport drivers
  • Meet and exceed individual performance goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence and professionalism on the phone, online, and in person
  • High attention to detail and ability to assess vehicle condition
  • Previous sales, BDC, customer service, or dealership experience preferred but not required. Training is provided!
  • Experience in automotive, RV, powersports, marine, furniture, insurance, wireless, or other consultative sales environments is encouraged to apply
  • Self-motivated and organized with a strong sense of accountability
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Energetic with a positive attitude
  • Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
