As an engineer at Superstate, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of tokenized assets. You'll work on blockchain-integrated systems that allow investors to self-custody financial assets, and design the systems, APIs, and infrastructure to make finance itself more efficient.
What you'll do
  • Build back-end web services that interact with blockchains and traditional finance
  • Build out APIs and integrations with our partner custodians
  • Design and build out an internal Transfer Agent
  • Lead, build and test our infrastructure as code efforts
  • Enthusiastically collaborate with a small team, owning and planning projects for long-term impact
  • Teach and mentor other engineers
What you'll bring to the team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 9+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Expertise in building fault tolerant, high performance, and highly available cloud infrastructure in AWS
  • Deep Rust experience
  • Familiarity building web-services for highly-trafficked websites
  • Familiarity with SQL, query planning and optimization
  • Familiarity with the current DeFi ecosystem
  • Exceptional judgment, strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset
