Downhole Chemical Solutions (DCS) is an employee-owned oil and gas chemical company delivering performance-driven solutions in hydraulic fracturing. Founded in 2015, we specialize in slickwater fluid systems and stimulation chemistries backed by data, engineering expertise, and hands-on field execution. With a growing footprint across major U.S. shale plays, DCS is built on a commitment to safety, accountability, and teamwork. As an ESOP company, every employee plays a role in our success and shares in the results of the work we do.


We are seeking an Operations Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in providing technical support for DCS field operations and help drive continued growth of our dry friction reducer delivery program, DriFlow. We are searching for a driven individual who is eager to learn, grow, and excel as an engineer in a fast-paced environment.


As an Operations Engineer at DCS, you will begin with a 3-month rotational development program designed to accelerate your understanding of DCS operations. This program provides hands-on exposure across multiple departments, giving you a comprehensive view of our business and preparing you for long-term success.


During the rotation, you will work in several key roles, including:

  • Operator - Gain frontline hands-on experience with our equipment and processes on location in the field.
  • Facility Operator - Manage inventory and load bulk products at the facility for field delivery.
  • Field Coordinator - Oversee and coordinate field activities while maintaining strong communication with field teams.
  • Electronics Technician - Support the technical side of operations, ensuring electronic systems function reliably.
  • Remote Operations Center Coordinator - Monitor and support field operations remotely, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate logistics for assets and product.

Upon the successful completion of the development program, you will transition into the Operations Engineer I role, where you will continue to contribute to the growth and success of DCS. This role offers strong potential for long-term career growth and advancement within our organization.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited university in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Willingness to relocate to Marshall, TX and travel as needed throughout the U.S. to support DCS’s operations
  • Must be self-motivated, and able to work autonomously alongside other engineers and field personnel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Less than 1 year field experience desired, internship or otherwise
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% preferred
