Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and eager Interns to join our team for a 3-month internship program. This position is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in heavy civil construction and site development. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, learning about project management, field operations, and the business of site development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project teams with daily field operations, including site preparation, grading, utilities, and project layout.
  • Support the Preconstruction and Field Management teams with estimating, takeoffs, and project documentation.
  • Participate in jobsite safety meetings and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Collect and organize project data such as daily reports, equipment logs, and material tracking.
  • Shadow experienced operators, foremen, and superintendents to learn various aspects of sitework.
  • Provide general administrative and field support as needed to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or technical training in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Heavy Equipment Operations, or related field.
  • Strong interest in site development, construction, and heavy equipment.
  • Reliable transportation to and from Ravenel, SC, job sites.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
