Essential Functions

  • Development of KPI Dashboard to help facilitate proactive supplier management
  • Preparation of KPI based top management presentations
  • Participation in regular national and international project meetings 
  • Preparation and presentation of current supplier capacity status in project meetings
  • Data analysis of supplier related data points 
  • Gain knowledge about manufacturing by visiting local suppliers

Other Regular Daily Tasks:

  • Participate in daily team meetings and regular external communication
  • Support with external communication to suppliers
  • Support with code development along side team data alalysts

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

 

Education

Student in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

  • Fluent proficiency in English; Good German skills preferred
  • Ability to create reports and to be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic supply chain understanding
  • Project management skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Open-minded, ideally, with experience in different cultures
  • High flexibility and adaptability in a fast-pacing environment
  • High motivation and willingness to learn 
  • Supplier development and/or manufacturing knowledge is favorable
  • Knowledge of automotive companies is a plus
  • Supplier development and/or manufacturing knowledge is favorable
  • First experiences with Power BI application is beneficial
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform Preferred (PowerBI PowerApps)

Preferred Start Date:

  • July 2026

Benefits:

  • Paid internship - hourly rate $18
  • Coverage of visa costs
  • $700 housing bonus

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's degree
  • Studies outside of the U.S.A  (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
  • A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months
