Description As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robotic work cells, custom automation systems, and industrial equipment from concept through completion. Working closely with customers, engineering teams, and manufacturing personnel, you will create innovative, cost-effective solutions while ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and project requirements. Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical designs for robotic work cells and automation equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Perform engineering calculations, component sizing, and mechanical analysis to validate designs. Design pneumatic systems and select sensors, actuators, and related automation components. Support the preparation of customer proposals, technical documentation, and project specifications. Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and delivery schedules. Profile The ideal candidate will be a motivated Mechanical Engineer with experience designing industrial machinery, automation systems, or robotic equipment. You will possess strong 3D CAD skills, a solid engineering foundation, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. 3+ years of experience designing industrial automation equipment, machinery, or robotic systems. Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and engineering documentation practices. Experience with pneumatic systems, component selection, and machine design principles. Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
