Analog Devices Inc's Aerospace, Defense, and Communications (ADC) Team is seeking an intelligent and versatile Product-Test engineer to join our industry-pioneering ADC group. Responsibilities will be supporting and de-risking all reliability efforts for our state-of-the-art RF transceiver chips that change the world as we know it.
As a member of the Product Engineering team, you will be responsible for a specific product or group of products from product definition through production and release. You will be positioned within a multi-site development team and will be working closely with design, applications, Quality, Assembly, Failure Analysis teams to qualify and de-risk any reliability issues during the product's life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support advanced product/package/process evaluation to de-risk final product delivery.
  • Perform Reliability testing and data analysis to verify quality and robustness of the product.
  • Support Failure Analysis to drive to root-cause failure mechanism.
  • Develop hardware and software to support Qualification requirements.
  • Interface as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, marketing, and failure analysis as the product(s) move to mass production and continue throughout the remaining lifecycle.
  • Perform Lab analysis and evaluation of new silicon, working with multi-functional team to identify, simulate, and correct functional and parametric problems.
  • Consult with Test Development Engineer on wafer probe and final test, characterization, documentation, and release to manufacturing

Skill Set/Qualifications:
  • BS or MS degree in EE or ECE or equivalent relevant experience
  • RF and communication systems education background.
  • Experience performing circuit evaluation and characterization using bench test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, vector signal analyzers.
  • Knowledge of IC package and IC process failure mechanisms
  • Circuits knowledge that includes one or more of the following: RF circuits, digital circuits, analog circuits, ADCs, DACs, high speed serial interfaces
  • Coursework or exposure in one or more of the following Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Digital Communication
  • Knowledge of signal processing concepts and application
  • Programming using LabVIEW/Teststand, Python, Visual Basic, or C/C++
  • Strong problem solving & communication skills
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
