re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a Maintenance Technician for its Reverse Logistics operation based in Greencastle, PA. Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives.
The maintenance technician role will oversee the safe operation of custom designed plant equipment, some of which is heavy mechanical. This role is separate to facilities maintenance that look after HVAC and life safety, etc


Key job responsibilities
Performing regular PM (Preventative Maintenance) on plant equipment.
Acquire and maintain OEM manuals pertaining to all plant equipment.
Auditing equipment, ensuring all safety and protective guards are in place.
Take partnerships regularly with environmental health and safety team and participate in any and all safety incident reviews and programs.
Assess equipment breakdowns and perform certain on-site repairs depending on complexity.
Where repairs cannot be performed, escalate to support vendor and hold accountable to SLA's. Maintain callout log and report any breaches in SLA's.
Participate is annual budget cycles, ensure adequate budget for necessary repairs or upgrades.
Maintaining 5S order and cleanliness at all times
Escalating to senior management as needed/required
Work and meet SLA's against assigned targets
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Typically work is in a warehouse environment where the noise level is moderate to loud.
Occasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments.
Occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weather.
