This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to provide therapeutic support from the comfort of your own environment while connecting with clients across San Jose, California. • Conduct mental health evaluations to assess clients’ needs, establish therapeutic goals, and determine appropriate treatment pathways.
• Manage crisis interventions and provide emergency support to clients facing acute psychological distress.
• Participate actively in case conferences and multidisciplinary treatment planning sessions to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each individual.
• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to engage participants and promote mental health literacy.
• Collaborate with Reentry Social Workers to coordinate effective discharge planning services for clients transitioning back into community settings.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment outcomes, and regulatory compliance through our integrated electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Support and mentor interns or volunteers, providing supervision and guidance as they develop their clinical skills.
• Complete required statistical reports and contribute to the clinic’s ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, providing a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to ethical practice standards and ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with colleagues and community stakeholders.

• Prior experience working with children and teenagers in a therapeutic setting.
• Experience in conducting psychoeducational and process groups.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy.
