Key Responsibilities
  • Individual and Family Therapy: Conduct therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families. Address common issues such as relationship conflicts, trauma recovery, anxiety management, and depression. Utilize therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique situation.
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Perform thorough initial assessments to identify client needs. Develop treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines, ensuring swift, appropriate interventions.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy, adapting approaches to best suit individual client needs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for clients and to discuss complex cases, ensuring integrated treatment paths for improved outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous, confidential client records in a timely fashion. Ensure all clinical documentation complies with local regulations and ethical standards, contributing to data-driven treatment outcomes.
  • Crisis Intervention: React promptly and effectively to provide crisis intervention services when vital, ensuring clients receive immediate support during periods of acute distress.
  • Supervision: If applicable, offer guidance and mentorship to clinical interns or junior staff, sharing expertise to facilitate their professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse clientele includes individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational complexities. Qualifications
  • Education: A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: A current, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Georgia is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience providing therapy in an outpatient or clinical context is preferred.
Preferred Experience
