This role offers a fully remote work environment, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth. Your responsibilities will include maintaining electronic medical records in compliance with health system policies, ensuring that patient data is handled with utmost care and confidentiality.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of patients and their families at the point of admission and periodically thereafter, utilizing established social work theories and techniques to identify social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Independently manage a caseload of clients with varying levels of clinical acuity, providing tailored therapeutic interventions that consider the unique challenges each patient faces.
• Deliver a spectrum of therapeutic services including crisis intervention, grief counseling, and supportive counseling, enabling clients to navigate the complexities of their diagnoses, treatment pathways, and changes in their daily functioning.
• Engage actively in case finding activities, collaborating with other healthcare professionals during team conferences and interdisciplinary rounds to enhance holistic patient care.
• Provide psychoeducation for patients and their families, guiding them through their transition from youth to adult services while equipping them with the necessary information about their conditions and treatment options.
• Make mental health diagnoses as part of comprehensive treatment plans and participate in developing and implementing psychosocial intervention strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Offer clinical supervision and guidance to MSWs and student interns, fostering a supportive learning environment and aiding their professional development.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records, ensuring that all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans are documented in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and community improvement efforts related to mental health services, reviewing and improving written policies and procedures relevant to social work practices.

Your primary focus will be providing mental health services to a varied client base, including adults, geriatric individuals, pediatric patients, and adolescents. By employing a holistic approach, you will address the unique mental health challenges faced by these groups, including difficulties related to illness, transitions in life stages, and emotional responses to health crises. Your expertise will empower clients to develop coping strategies, foster resilience, and improve their overall quality of life.

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Proven ability to apply effective assessment, interviewing, and counseling techniques that promote positive client outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of social work theories, principles, and techniques relevant to mental health care.
• Competence in drafting detailed written case narratives and clinical reports.

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is an advantage, as this role heavily relies on virtual communication and therapeutic practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in providing trauma-informed care and understanding the complexities involved in treating diverse populations.
• Experience supervising interns or junior staff members is preferred, as the role includes mentoring opportunities.
