Interns are considered an integral part of the overall Conifer Health team as Interns provide diversity of thought, experience and collaborative energy that has positive benefits for the Intern as well as Conifer Health.  During the internship, Interns will be assigned to a respective service line or business function within Conifer Health.

Program Overview:

  • Must be organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare management, business administration, accounting, finance, or human resources.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher; sophomore, junior, or senior level preferred.

Compensation

  • Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

The Analytics Intern will support the business function through project-based assignments focused on data accuracy, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work extensively with Excel, including updating reports, tracing formulas, validating data, and assisting with automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately update and maintain Excel-based reports, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all metrics.
  • Trace, audit, and troubleshoot formulas to ensure correct calculations and proper linkage across worksheets.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and support basic workflow improvements within reporting processes.
  • Complete assigned projects within the internship timeline, delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Support day-to-day initiatives and special projects with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Conduct research on healthcare trends relevant to the business function.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
