Internship Remote Post Production information

What is a remote post production internship?

A remote post production internship is a temporary position where interns assist with editing, organizing, and finalizing video or audio content from a location outside of the main studio, usually from home. Interns may work with editing software, help manage digital assets, and support post production teams in tasks like color correction, sound mixing, and file delivery. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in the post production process without needing to relocate. Remote internships often require strong communication skills, self-motivation, and familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools. The experience gained can be valuable for building a career in film, television, or digital media.

You may also be involved in reviewing rough cuts, making minor revisions, and ensuring file formats meet project specifications. Collaboration often takes place via project management tools, cloud storage, and video conferencing, so good communication and time management skills are essential. These experiences not only build technical proficiency but also provide valuable insights into the collaborative workflows of a professional post production team.
