SCADA / PLC Controls Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer with strong PLC programming experience to support and enhance a real-time monitoring and control environment.
This role focuses on designing, programming, commissioning, and supporting PLC systems that connect to a centralized SCADA platform. You will work on systems that monitor and control critical infrastructure in real time.
What You Will Do
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems in both development and field environments
• Commission and support PLCs at remote sites
• Support and expand SCADA system capabilities
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues with PLCs and related systems
• Assist with system design, development, and ongoing support
• Contribute to standardized communication between field devices and central systems
• Support system performance, reliability, and capacity planning
What We Are Looking For
• Strong experience with PLC programming, commissioning, and support
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex controls issues
• Willingness to travel to field locations approximately 20 percent
Preferred Experience
• Experience with SCADA systems
• Experience with HMI systems
