What is an Internship Remote OPT Student?

An Internship Remote OPT Student is a student in the United States on F-1 visa status who participates in Optional Practical Training (OPT) through a remote internship. OPT allows international students to gain practical work experience in their field of study, and remote internships enable them to work from any location, often from home. These positions provide valuable industry experience and can help students build their professional network while complying with visa requirements. Remote OPT internships must still meet all reporting and authorization requirements set by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
