This role operates in a fully remote capacity, enabling you to maintain a work-life balance while being part of a dedicated healthcare team. Our hospice center offers a climate-controlled and adaptable setting, where you will engage with department members and collaborate with various healthcare professionals daily. This position requires not only clinical skills but also the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their mental health status and identify treatment needs, utilizing various diagnostic tools including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
• Develop individualized plans of care that reflect cultural diversity and address the unique needs of the patient population served, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and assess patients’ progress regularly, providing timely interventions and therapeutic strategies to foster mental health recovery and stability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment records, reports, and clinical information in accordance with regulatory guidelines and department protocols.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to formulate comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring clarity and agreement on care objectives and desired outcomes.
• Coordinate referrals to other treatment providers and support services, establishing strong working relationships with external agencies to facilitate seamless care transitions.
• Offer education and mentoring support to students, interns, and volunteers, contributing to their professional growth and skill development.
• Participate in peer review and collaborative discussions as directed by clinical supervisors to enhance team cohesion and improve service delivery.

You will work closely with patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions, providing vital support and guidance during their treatment journeys. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques in practice.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to cultivate trusting relationships with patients and their families.

• Experience providing mental health support in hospice or palliative care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with cancer-related psychological therapy and interventions is advantageous.
• Proven track record of collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience mentoring or supervising junior social work staff is beneficial.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a generous signing bonus to welcome you to our team.
