Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring the integration of pre-crisis and crisis management strategies.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and treatment methodologies, utilizing appropriate screening tools to accurately gauge client needs and progress.
  • Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive care, sharing insights on treatment strategies, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, adhering to regulatory standards to ensure compliance and proper communication within the care team.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention planning by developing actionable crisis and behavioral support plans that prioritize clients' well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population includes individuals struggling with a variety of mental health challenges, substance use issues, developmental disabilities, and brain injuries. Our counselors are tasked with understanding the unique needs of each client while delivering compassionate and effective treatment. Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is essential.
  • Candidates must be eligible for licensure by the state of Florida.
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing is mandatory for any necessary travel.
  • Exceptional communication skills are required to establish rapid trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong listening abilities combined with the capacity to empathize while guiding clients in their therapeutic journey are essential.

Compensation and Benefits
