Job description

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor system health and performance with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
  • Implement and enforce best practices in security, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to streamline code deployments and reduce lead time.
  • Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning for applications and infrastructure.
  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and support cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Deep knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, including IAM, firewalls, and network configuration.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
