Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through individual sessions, gathering background information and understanding their personal goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address clients’ unique challenges, which may include anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, and other mental health disorders.
• Facilitate regular therapeutic sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure clients receive effective, culturally sensitive support.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques when necessary, effectively managing urgent situations to maintain clients' safety and well-being.
• Provide referrals and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social services, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Document treatment processes and client progress in the EHR system, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
• Actively participate in case consultations with colleagues to enhance treatment strategies and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada is essential.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health disorders is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidenced-based treatment methodologies along with the ability to deliver therapeutic services across multiple modalities, including individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time counseling position offers an attractive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
